Pastor Zack attended The College at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC from 2006-2010. Upon graduation he and his family moved to Ferrum, Va. where he served as Assistant Pastor and Student Pastor from 2010 – 2014. Heeding God’s call to serve as Sr. Pastor at The Church of The Open Door, the Furches family relocated to Clinton, CT in Sep. 2014.
Pastor Zack was born Jan.18,1973 in Wilmington, DE. He and his wife Rebekah have been married for 17 years and have 3 children: Gabriel, Luke and Sarah. His life verses are Ephesians 6:19-20: “And for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, For which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly as I ought to speak.”
