“We will praise King Jesus in the midst of our storms! When His blessings fall from heaven as the manna did to the Israelites, I will praise Him. When the challenges mount and seem to be unrelenting, I will praise Him. When there seems to be no end to the difficulties, I will praise Him. When another soul is added to the eternal Kingdom of God, I will praise Him. When our church grows, I will praise Him. When I am hurting, I will praise Him. When there are sleepless nights, I will praise Him. When the world is not all as it should be, I will praise Him. When I feel outnumbered, like Hezekiah and the Israelites, I will praise Him. When the problems of today loom over me and my family like Goliath did over David, I will praise Him. When I doubt like John the Baptist did, I will praise Him. When I cannot breathe properly, I will praise Him for life. When I cannot chew food, I will praise Him for my wife and children who feed me through a straw. When I cannot speak, I will praise Him for His faithful men who will speak in my stead. When I worry about the details of the daily church routine, I will praise Him for a faithful and humble secretary. When I worry about the watch care of our flock, I will praise Him for our loving deacons. When He delivers me out of this storm, I will praise Him for His faithfulness. When the next attack is launched, I will pray I praise Him more than in the last.
I love you church! Will you praise Him with me today??? – Ps. 120
